ebay oem replica fogs installation??

i came into a problem when installing these fogs. the wiring harness that connects to the fuse box under the steering wheel only has one wire connector that fits to the box (which is a red wire going to the fuse for the fogs). the other wire coming out of the fogs fuse does not fit. i tried to strip the wire and fit into the connector on the box and the fogs still does not turn on. everything is grounded and looks good. i was wondering if anyone has come to this problem with this install. here is a link to the fogs i bought.

just hook the one wire up to the ignition wire on your headunit. and the constant up to the constant on battery or depending on how the wire is ran to the constant on the headunit.

wouldn't that cause the fogs to be on constantly when the ignition is on? i only want the fogs to be on when the headlights or the parking is on.

you still have the switch. this would just cause them to turn off when the key is off. now for the constant i am not sure if you would want to run the constant off the deck's constant. i have 8 awg ran to a dist block behind my deck so i have more than enough current right there. but yeah you can use the ignition(yellow/red wire on stock harness) hook up for the fogs ignition for sure.

isnt there any there way to wire the fogs so that it would switch on/off with the headlight switch (like the oem fog setup)? not that im lazy to switch off the fogs and headlights when i get out of the car, but it looks more like stock fogs if it does.

tap the ignition wire on the fog lights in to the headlight wires on your vehicle.
