Alcohol injection
i have two questions before i build myself a custom kit.
1. can you use alcohol injection and nitrous? (just makeing sure)
2. does anyone else have alc.inj. on there car and where did you get it?

why not? if it blows- d17 engines dont cost a much to replace. my friend bought a d17a2 off ebay for under $500. it would give me an excuse to build a stronger bottom end.

Rep Power: 300 read it but it didnt answer all my question. could i run the alc.inj. off the nx switch that is controlled by the throttle at WOT? that way i wouldnt run it unless at WOT right?

Rep Power: 0 if you're boosting, you probably want the nitrous off the line to combat turbo lag...
if you want to use alcohol injection with nitrous and all motor, you would run super rich and that would not be good...
if you ran nitrous, alcohol injection, with a turbo, you might be able to tune it so everything would be able to work together.... this is considering that you have a relative decent amount of boost...
remember the purpose of alcohol injection, it raises octane levels in fuel, cools air charge temps, which reduces the chance of knock or detonation...
