ok you push the cruise control button, then go to the speed you want, then on the steering wheel, push set cruise control.
if you want to accelerate, push speed up, etc.

I vote your fingers are fat and you're mistakenly hitting the cancel button in the middle....weiner fingers
anyways...do a test....find a 35 or 30 mph zone...turn on the cruise control (push button with green light on) push the decel button twice...(don't ask just do it) look to see that the words in the gauge cluster CRUISE CONTROL come on...when they do hit cancel, then repeat the same thing.... and watch what your fingers do each time....(this is why i said find a slow speed zone, don't need ya looking down at your fingers while crusing at 75) you may be inadvertantly hitting a button...also I wanna say cruise only will engage at speeds 30+....

Gearbox did a diy on tightening the cruise control cable sometime back. Seems that it can have a little too much slack causing these types of problems. Might want to check that. Tighten it only a little and see.
ha i did the hole testing thing and nope.....my fingures were exactly ware there suppose to be and its still not working.
i'll try that tightening thing but it may be a while....im kinda tight on time...
..gotta new job and all
