install help ---> SF kit in 04
so i just got my SF turbo kit today and mounted(not fully installed) everything.....i read here that its a really easy install but i had a whole bunch of issues (power steering pump in the way of the manifold, i had to cut off 3 fan guards to mount the turbo-intercooler fitting, lower rad hose in the way of intake pipe) and i havent even tried anything with the FMU yet. also on the pipe that goes into the throttlebody there is 2 parts i dont know what to connect to...if anyone has any info for me that might help please let me know. thanx.

You should have not had to cut your radiator fan shroud. You can loosen the bolts on the turbo housing and rotate the intake side of the turbo. Yes the radiator hose will be pinched. Mine has been this way for about 20,000 miles with no problems.

That's funny.......i've been running it for 20 months and around 20,000 miles with no problems. I run 8-10 psi daily and i have no blown HG's, spun bearings or smoked pistons. I will agree that it is not the best set-up....but it is effective for those on a budget.

ya sorry just realized i already asked...anyways im gonna install the fmu i guess. i have no choice really. only thing im confused about now is the small fitting on the pipe right before the throttle body...theres an electric conection for the fmu, the BOV and another small fitting i dont know what it does.
