First off, I searched and got over 10 pages of results.
Does anyone have a good way of cleaning the Tien Coil over so it can stay smooth when adjusting. I currently have Tien SS and I am about to raise the car for the winter again, and for it to be in the shop. I usually sprayed it with water and lubed it once last year. This year I didnt get around to doing that and I can see alot crap in the threads. Dont want to adjust with all that sitting in it.
Some one give me some tips on the easiest way to clean them up and lube it back up for a smooth adjustment.
Also while Im on the suspension topic, how do you check to be sure none are blown out,

i use a wide, thick bristled paintbrush to shake off all the debris and aerosol spray cleaner to get the stuck on grime off. Like a good degreaser. As far as the shocks being blown, its the same as it is with any other shock absorber, if it stops dampening it's blown. Bounciness is a clear sign, you can also do it by touch. Your shocks should be warm after driving, if they are cold, they arent doing their job and if they are hot there is too much friction.

Toothbrush, soap and water. WD40 takes off corrosion, use anti-sieze or dry graphite to relube. If you move the perches to clean, re-align the car.
