Dont know about the online programs but I have a few friends that go there and they all hate it. ur grades depend on how well u work inside of a group, its kinda over priced and if people dont do the work inside the groups everybody else has to make up for the work there not doing. But thats not the online programs.
Hey bro, I am attending University of Phoenix Online right now, working on my Bachelors of Science in Business/Information Systems. I am loving it so far. I needed something very flexible that did not require me to be stuck in a classroom for 3 hours a night, 3 nights a week, and this is it. I have 3 assignments due per week, about 150-200 word responses on each assignment. A paper due maybe once a month, and thats about it. It is really easy, if you are disciplined enough to get online and do it. You are monitored in two ways. Your attendance is checked by the school to make sure that you have signed in, or "attended" class 2 days per week. Your participation is checked by your instructor, and you need to make two posts per day, 4 out of 7 days a week. It is really simple if you ask me, and I am pulling 4.0 so far. If you have any other questions or anything just ask. I am very pleased with it and recommend it for anyone with time constraints.

I go there, but don't take the online classes. It was cheaper for me beacuse they don't charge out of residence like ASU does, plus I only needed 20 clases to get my bachelors. I attend class once a week for about three hours and it works got for me since I work full time. As for the team learning thing, the last five classes I have had have only counted for about 30 percent of my grade and I haven't really had any major issues. I have heard nothing but bad things from people taking online classes because you usually have to do group projects with people who don't live in the same state as you and communication is often an issue, but I have no personaly experience with taking those classes.

if you need to do group projects with people in other state, you just have to do it over the internet? you don't need to really meet them right???
