Hey guys,
I just bought a 1997 HX and the hood has spots that were eaten away by bird poop because the previous owner left it outside and never wipped off the bird poop. In any case, the result is now that the hood has spots where the paint is "burned" off. I'm thinking about trying touch up paint first and if that's too ugly, I'll try calling a few paint places and get a quote on repainting the hood.
Anyone has any other recommandations? Could anyone recommand a good touch up paint or paint shop? Estimate cost to paint the hood?

p.s. I'm also looking for a HX rim to be used as full size spare. I'm also looking for clear headlights as mine are yellowing. Apprecaite some advice.

i always goto bell honda on 7th and bell, there's a oriental guy that works at the parts counter, just tell him that your on 7thgen civic and he always hooks me up

try a junk yard. look around. hoods would not be so expensive
