brake n clutch noises

brake n clutch noises

okay i just bought an 01 civic sedan and i have 2 weird clunking noises
the brakes occasionally make a weird noise wen being used its not all the time justeverynow and then and im not even braking hard
2nd noise is the clutch wen let out fast it also clunks does it just need adjusting or wat need to be done to both

the brake noise is normal. The pads on the newer civics usually adjust themselves in the caliper and alot of times when braking, they will shift around and cause that clunking noise. I have it even with aftermarket pads, but what you can try is use 2 sets of shims and see if that helps. I am going to try it the next time I replace my pads. Alot of people on here have that problem.
