DIY Fender Removal?

I'm waiting on my lambo door kit to arrive and i decided to see how difficult it would be to take off my fender. Well I am having a bitch of a time getting the top bolt off, next to the door. I put all of my might into it and got nowhere.

For everyone else who has removed the fender and/or installed vertical doors, how did you get that bolt out? It is on TIGHT!!! Impact gun? I just don't know how an impact gun would fit in that tiny space.

Thanks everyone.

i just used an open ended wrench and some elbow grease to get that bolt off..

or did i use a socket wrench with a small (1.5") extender on it...

it is a bitch getting the bolts behind the door off though..

JCiv03 is on a distinguished road
Are you referring to the top bolt in the door jamb? If i remember correctly, i might have squeezed in a socket with an extention. It wasn't too hard to get off for me, but getting those black tabs out from the door jamb was a total b*tch..

Well turbo is out because IMO they are unreliable and require too much maintenance. So that leaves me with a swap, but I want to wait until K20 prices drop more especially with the new Si coming.

The ricer in me just couldn't resist getting the lambos. lol

i wouldve sold you my lambo kit for like 500, how much did u pay?

btw youll never use an impact gun on body work.
and that bolt is easy, get a 1/4" drive ratchet with an extension and a short 10mm socket on it open the door and take off the bolt. btw its alot easier to get at that bolt once u got the kit on and door open

I got mine brand new for $550 shipped straight from Dayton Imports. You can't get a deal better than that.
