yes take care of it but just show them a bill of sale and that your not responsible for the vehicle and any penalties on it anymore so those tickets are up to the new owner heh...good luck for u...heh...

how do i know this? cuz when i bought my eclipse it had 1 fixer for tint and 2 parking violations but since i bought it from a friend and when i went to do a title transfer the fines were then my responsibility since i was the new registered owner...but my friend payed them for me anyways cuz i've known him for a while and he didnt even know about those fines haha

good luck to ya man

actually whoever was in possesion at the time of the vehicle is responsible for those tickets. chances are they will tell you you should have taken care of it before you sold the car. they will probably make you pay the full amount.

dont you have to submit paperwork with the dmv saying you no longer own the car, and the new owner is such and such , if you did anything like that should be good proof
