I'm starting to consider the new SI. It looks sick to me. This is what I'm talking about. That's how I want it!!

Have you even see any of the threads on the dealer mark ups on the 8th gens yet?
look at this thread.
http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=227992
this is the mark up on a 8th gen lx. After dealer markup its already 20k.
There's no official prices on the SI's yet, but lets assume its 20k base before options. If you add navi thats another 2k and if you add dealer mark up its another 3k. Total would be 25k before tax and licensing. You can get a Type S for 21k and 23k after tax and licensing.
I wasn't refering to the msrp, but market price.

navi is standard on the si. there is no mark up for that.
and honda would never charge more for a new si then a new rsx-s that would just be plain stupid.

navi is not standard on the si, its a accessory. Can you show me a link where its saids the si will come with navi standard?
A ex mt starts at $18260, with navi its $20,010. If it came standard with navi then it would at least have to be 24k msrp and before dealer markup.
As for the rsx, a lot of people say its going to be decontinued. If thats true then the 8th gen si is actually a rsx and 7th gen si replacement. If they do keep it rsx then Acura is probably going to move the car up market and have it compete against the Audi A3 and BMW 1-Series.
