i know of quite a few people here how go it....you need to get a bypass valve fro you cai.....that will take care of it

These weren't from AEM CAIs were they ? You have to be in some pretty damn deep water for that to happen.

happening to u..... otherwise ur car might feel a little sluggish

I don't think many people have got it. If you have the AEM CAI, the filter is so high off the ground that you would have to be in water that is high enough to get into your cabin for you to get hydrolock...

bare in mind that if you drive through a deeper puddle water is gonna get up in the engine bay..and it can get sucked up into you intake....you dont have to sit in a puddle...water splashes.....just get bypass valve.....

MY friends 96 prelude sucked up water goin over a puddle it wasnt that deep i was in the car with him. He even had a Bypass Valve still it didnt work. Gotta rember the intake has to be completly submurged for the bypass valve to work. and if your filter becomes wet it still has the chance of sucking up water

2 weeks ago that happened to my sister's 2000 accord. the connecting rod cracked and made a hole in the block.now i'm swapping that engine out for an H22
