Non-NBP car with OEM NBP parts...
Non-NBP car with OEM NBP parts...
I was at a local integra meet a while back and there was a DA4 (gen2 integra) that was white, but with the oem white hatch and hood painted a flat black. I mean, from far away, I thought it was a CF hood+hatch. Walking up close, he wasn't fooling anyone, though. THing is, I wonder if it would look as tacky as this guy had it if he actually used a painted/clearcoated OEM black hood/hatch...
So, I ask you guys. Has anyone ever done this? Would it look THAT bad?
Oh, and I'm not making anything up to cover how stupid I may sound in wanting to attempt this myself. I have a NBP coupe

people do the black and white thing or grey and white thing cuz they want to look "JDM" but cant afford cf. its a bit tacky, doesn't look too bad, but its better to get it to match. people who modify cars will kno that it doesn't match and it is tacky and cheap. why would u put unpainted nhbp things on a nhbp car? thats just even tackier.

one of my co-workers has you all beat. his car looks like s***. a Datsun 510, and he primered his hood. He didn't bother taking it off, or masking off the edges, so he painted/primered a portion of his fender, and the part between his hood and windshield.

Those actually go well together...not tacky at all...probably cause they are actually painted and clear coated and not just a flat black...especially the RSX...now if that **** just looked primered...now that'd just be horrible...
