i used a drill with a small drill bit and drilled a **** load of holes around the perimeter of where i wanted the hole. then i took a utility knife and cut through the holes. then i took a file and smoothed the ridges so that i had a safer edge (no cutting fingers open).

if you're not used to using power tools or a knife, then don't try this at home.

get it replaced under warranty lol

using a dremel would be the quickest and easiest way to undergo this project. i dont have a dremel, though, so i used what i had at the time - a drill and a knife.

on my friends 03 i installed fogs...i had access to snap-on air tools so i used a rotary cutter and a di-grinder to fine trim the wholes...than i sanded it smooth with some 80 grit sand paper

well, i just cut out the area that has the three smaller panels, and then placed the foglight over that area to see how much more i needed. it ended up being about 4 inches. you could probably get away with doing less. i used a hack saw to cut , and that went fairly easily. fast enoughto not tire out, but slow enough so you don't screw up. i also used a dremel w/ a cutting circular blade on it too. kinda hard to angle in though, so i used it for the vertical cut, seeing how i couldn't do a right turn with the hacksaw blade.

PM me for more/better instruction if needed!

I need to figure out how to wire the fog lights because mine came with no instructions. Any help with that will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. I already cut the holes, and they look really nice. I just need to get the wiring done so I can start using them... Thanks again.
