e-manage versus vafc-2 for vtec and fuel control.

ive read and searched but couldnt find many clear answers.

does the emanage control vtec? ive read it does.

if im doing an ex head swap and also putting on a turbo kit what is the best for fuel management and vtec control? can the emanage be wired in like the vafc2 so i dont need an ex ecu an key reflash for the head swap? my turbo kit came with the emanage so should i bother selling it to get the vafc2 or something?

emanage will engage vtec for you. i am currently running the ex head with lx block using emanage to control timing, fuel and vtec. i can't exactly remember but its either the yellow (vtec-in) wire or the light blue (vtec-out) wire that connects to the vtec solenoid wire. i remember i had one of them hooked up and it didnt work so i switched to the other and it works. let me know if you need more help with this setup because it seems we have the same setup.

emanage is far superior to the vafc, especially for blown aps. i think the emanage will also allow you to control an additional injector and adjust fuel maps - im not FI so im not so sure.

yes it has been verified that you can use the emanage to engage vtec.. if you don thave any form of fuel managment then get the vafc2 if you cant afford emanage.. but since you already have it then your all set
