Question on installing true coilovers which use oem 01 uppermounts i.e. Tein and B&G

On the upper mount there is an arrow, is this supposed to point in a particular direction when assembling the coilovers?
SEE ATTACHED PIC!
Also, is it supposed to point in a particluar direction when placing the mount up inside the car? The mount is a 3 bolt pattern, im assuming it can go in any which way.
Please help, thanks.

it doesnt matter where it points when you are building the assembly, unless you mean the specific order it has to go in, because once it's built, you can just rotate the hat to match the position in the shock tower. The arrow will then face the front of the car, but it can only go in one way, the studs are not equidistant.

It only matters with stock struts.

yes, left on left, and right on right, but it doesn't matter where the arrow points on the mount. With stock struts you need to make sure the arrors line up.
