HID on stock headlights?

HID on stock headlights?
does anybody tried putting just the HID kit on their stock headlights, w/out using projectors? pls. post some pics. 'coz my buddy is selling me a HID kit and he said its direct replacement on the bulbs??? i don't know about that???!@$#@% is this even possible?

Ok you can't get real hid bulbs that go into ur stock connectors. You can get an aftermarket kit that has ballast and stuff that run from stock connector harness to ballast to bulb. And Yes lots of ppl do it...there are tons of pics...just use the serach button.
