Hi, I'm new here. I just bought a Honda Civic 2005 vp. I got two questions though.

1. how to remove an air filter?

2. anyone has a service manual cd?

3. 1.7L engine is a V-tech engine?

1. did you even look? there are screws around the top of the air box you remove.

1. look under the hood, I think the owners manual even tells you how to do this.
2. No, I don't think anyone here will give the service manual since that would be illegal, you can ask for section/pages concerning this and that, but I would not reccomend asking for the entire thing.
3. some 1.7L engines are some are not. The Value Package civic (VP) is not VTEC.

Wow you are just full of questions.

CAI and SRI's add a couple HP, not much. The sound is a lot cooler, once you get a muffler/exhaust. And it improves the look of the engine bay. Easy to install.
