What do you do?
this question is for people that have lowered rides. what do you guys do when you need new tires, allignment, anything that needs to be done at a garage? i needed new tires and tires plus wouldn't put them on for me because my car was too low to get onto a 2 inch lift... which is
because im on neuspeed sports which is about a 1.75 inch drop. so i just went to the flea market (gotta love opa locka) and got 2 new goodyear tires for $90 bucks installed. now i need an allignment. what do you guys do?

find a shop or mechanic that specializes in modified cars and pay them to do it. Tires you can get done anywhere. Alignments find someone who knows how to deal with lowered cars. Other stuff I do in my parking lot. Anything I can't do, I find someone who was recommended to me or bring it to my friend(s).

Take your rims off and do a walk in. Have them mount and balance the tires. Then find an alignment place that deals with lowered cars and drive it over there.
I need TP for my bunghole

www.Yahoo.com - yellow pages
Pop in a city and state
Then search with the word alignment.
then start calling around

know somebody on the inside, well all alignments are done on "racks" which is the one you actaully drive the cars up onto, the problem is ground clearance, its the angle of the ramps, it may bottom out, it shouldnt tho, but the they are probably declining service to you simply because they feel the alignment will be severly fckd because of the drop, especially camber (caster is unajustable.) Is it a thrust alignment? does the car pull? how is the tire wear, does it suggest poor alignment? wait untill you get new tires + balance before you get an alignment...it me back for more info, i work at 2 garages and do that sht all day...

i just got 2 new front tires mounted and balanced. when the wheel is straight, the car turns slightly to the right. when the wheel is slightly to the left, it goes straight. the car doesnt pull at all, when its going straight, it'll keep going that way. do you understand???
