K20 Swap Dyno Numbers **Updated** Dyno Sheet Up
well.. its that time..yes that time of day... some of you may have read about me posting about my weird motor and stuff... To bring you up to speed on whats going on read this

Took me a while but i have figured how to do the wiring of all the electronis from the guage cluster to the fan switch to the O2 sensor.. So now everything works even Power steering and A/C and no check engine lights.
Now the swap is in my car and running full fledge kick ***... basically when i race my friends rsx with the same mods as me... i pull ahead of him by half a car or so...
my mods so far are
Hondata
Type S manifold and Base TB.. (took out the dual intake runners)
Megan Race headers
Megan Race Downpipe
Custom 2.5 Piping
Megan Race Exhaust
Custom 3in Intake
So we will be taking a untuned run and a tuned run.. right now its street tuned using the datalog from the A/F and what not... so anyone wanna take a guess to what i run on the dyno this coming tuesday... its a mustang dyno BTW....
and if anyone needs any help on there swap while i make this DIY here ask me or you can wait till the next few days when i get the DIY made.

that my friend is the eternal question... gotta wait... till tomorrow... we spent 8 hours tuning the thing today and will finish tomorrow.. you gotta remember that this motor has no base map for it on kpro considering we dont know which motor it is if you read the post from above.. so basically it was like this
we found the best map we could use and started from there..
1st run was at 99whp
then tuned more and got 140whp
then more and more and then finally before i went home we got it to 190whp and 120torque and it still has more tweaking to go.. we got it up to 8000rpm and the hp curve still hasnt gone down yet...

Are you sure it's from the UK? They don't have any car that would have anything like that. The CTR has the K20A with real intake and exhaust VTEC. Everything else is like our base RSX with a weird kind of VTEC-E. Maybe it's a experimental Honda engine that wasn't suppose to make it out into the public but someone leaked it. (Looked on the Honda UK site.)

vtec is set optimally at 5400 where the HP and torque cross over.. when it was set lower to how the k20a3 have it the engine bogged big time... so no this engine is not the A3.. i already had this discussion across 3 different boards about the type of engine.. so all i can say is now that i have to deal with what i have.. lol

you got away with a steal.... i mean damn you got a K20a for half the damn price. All you need is a Type R IM and TB and you have a Real k20a. I wish I jumped on this engine when I saw it on ebay way back in the day.

well his HP is like around 192whp. So I wouldn't care that much about VTEC only being on the intake side. either way great steal.

lol.. heres mine finally

Still needs more tuning.. right towards the end of the run like around 8000 the motor is not getting enough air.. so once i get the bigger TB in we go back to the dyno again.. right now i am using the base TB cause the TPS off my type S throttle body broke off

then you come to my motor... it has the casting for the vtec lobes ONLY on the intake side and none on the exhaust... so in your opinion what tdoes that make it.. a k20a1.5??
