i am a ford probe magnet
Everywhere I go lately, i've seen "modded" ford probes.
On the way home on the freeway the other day, top down, cruising about 80mph, I come upon a white ford probe GT with a big aluminum wing and an exhaust. I'm about to go by the guy, and apparently he felt that it meant I wanted to race.
Eventually, we are next to each other (my cruise control is still set at 80), and he downshifts. I look over, and he floors it. I floor it, in 6th gear, and not only does he not pull, but I start to pull on him, which is really really sad. Then, just to **** him off, when we hit 100 (and i'm already ahead of him), I downshift to 5th and then just pour salt in the wound.
yay.
Then, the other day, I'm driving my fiancee's corolla, and I have her and Ryan (overbooster) in the car. We get off the freeway, and waiting to turn onto the freeway at the light is a blue ford probe GT with aluminum wing, black rims, and an exhaust.
I point it out, we chuckle, and as I turn in front of him and go by, i point out the window and laugh. Needless to say, he didn't like this much. (yeah yeah, i know i'm a d*ck)
So today, I'm at the mcdonald's drive thru, and guess what's in front of me. The blue ford probe. I think, the guy may have recognized me, but I can't be sure. He pulls off to the side after getting his food. After I get mine, I go by him, and he pulls out behind me. At the stop sign, he's revving his engine. lol. I pull out onto the road, and he stays right behind me, then moves over, and pulls next to me. He wastes no time, and drops down and floors it. I put it into 2nd and leave him like he was standing still.
yay.
that's my story, and im stickin to it.

Rep Power: 338 thats funny. you keep getting in situations where you have to do a mercy kill to put them out of there misery. thats funny. HAHAHA!!! what could a probe driver think when he pulls up to an s2k? maybe he was hoping you would mis-shift or something. lol

Rep Power: 0 i seen a couple probes around...nice ones at that. i guess some are pretty fast too. there's some engine they have out for them. i even been on probetalk a few times. not a bad site. hey....they're faster than my civic.

Rep Power: 338 ok i don't believe in "the force", imo star wars is crap. but to each his own. my point was the a sleeper probe would not have a 500 hp motor in it. i don't think it could keep traction on the street. i know you didn't say it would have 500 hp, just an example. i still believe that the s2k would own any probe.

that thing is not a daily driver . look at it its got a rar half frame tubbed with slicks. and only running a 11sec 1/4. to me that is sad. and i saw the pic of the 2jz motor as well and wondering what the ????

Rep Power: 338 wow, a ford that looks decent, i didn't know it was possible. the old mustangs i get, but from the 80's and up fords cars are ugly imo. this one looks pretty good and clean. first for me. cool.
