Yup, she failed. I think it was a combo of her choking and the DMV tester being a bitch. My lady was real nervous going into the test. We had practiced normal driving and even freeway driving. We praticed parking, 3-point turns, and backing up in a straight line.

But, on the day when it counted, she blew it.

The instructor told her to back up parallel to the curb for a few hundred feet. Apparently she didn't stay parallel with the curb and went slightly into the main lane of the road. Even though it was just a small 25mph road by a park, the DMV ***** labeled it as a "dangerous manuver," an immediate disqualification. But to top it off, she didn't even tell her that she failed until they returned to the DMV. Where she rubbed it in my girls face by telling her that "she could have asked to do it over!"

F****ing b**ch, sorry I'm just pissed because now my lady's confidence is shot and now I have to try and build it up before the next test on the 23rd.
And, I'm scared that even if we pratice our asses off, she could still fail for a minor infraction, that's bearing left up to the DMV tester's to judge at his/her discretion.

No need to worry about it, I failed my first driving test because of someone else's fault! That just made me want to pass even more! Tell her not to worry about it, its only a test and you only do it once! Then she's home free.

i failed first time and it was a thing where if you did it you failed no matter what and they didn't tell me until dmv either.. i think its cause they are scared that if they tell you that you failed u will get pissed of and do something stupid in car while driving haha

took my test @ the Torrance DMV.... failed it the first time.

Oh man was I pissed. (I even took 4 days of driving lessons prior to taking it!)

What happened was I was driving down the road, when I passed an intersection. (No stop sign for my side) I looked both left and right just to impress the DMV guy, and then a couple feet later, BAM!

The DMV guy grabs hold of the steering wheel and jerks it HARD to the right... I almost ran into the center divider...

I dont know what I was smoking not to notice that. Drove my happy *** back to the DMV.

2nd time passed though.

i didnt! =D i tried parallel parking too on my driving test. i drove away from it too. but the lady. she was a funny one. she had big yellow sunglasses on and a big yellow sun dress. it was like something out of an old movie. and she had a funny hairdo =D

 

I passed the first time too! I had to parallel park and the guy got out to measure the distance, and i was too far away from the curb, but i still passed.
