there is a lip in your fender well that sticks out. When you lower your car, the tire will most likely hit that when u hit a bump, and it carves away at your tires. So i need a place to roll that lip up...

the shop i go to for suspension and tires here in sac, won't touch it unless they taught me how to do it because if you crack your paint then you're SOL. i'm not sure how many shops would do it for you with that risk looming over them. but then again, i've heard of many people not cracking their paint. so i don't know who to believe.

why not just dial in some negative camber when you get an alignment done so it will clear it?

I really need this for my datsun truck. I put 16x8's and its just too wide so i need to cut and reweld or roll about 3 inches out. Raising the truck is not an option if not go a little lower. Edit I have tried a metal pipe and its not enough and the whole paint cracking thing is no prob I need to paint just want to do this crap first.
