track times

Just got back from the track and i impeoved a lil bit for my second time there but was a lil disappointed. First off it was 105 degrees and i had a great time besides sweating like mad in the pits. I have a **** load of excuses but u run what u brung lol so i wont get yall bored. Before i post my times i saw a black 7thgen that ran and i saw an exhaust but didnt talk to the guy and he ran a 17.1 (was it anyone from this site? Also a supra ran a 17.2 and a bmw m5 ran a 15.3. Also a modded evo hit 15.0 flat so i guess today wasnt the greatest day for everyone). So here r my times

1st run only spraying in 3rd.

reaction: .051
I1: 2.579
I2: 6.955
I3: 10.629
MPH (I3): 67.703
I4: 12.162
E.T.: 16.314
MPH: 87.185

2nd run was sprayin 1st and on and i misshifted 3rd gear

reaction: .059
I1: 2.293
I2: 6.460
I3: 9.867
MPH (I3): 72.435
I4: 12.782
E.T.: 15.500
MPH: 77.757

3rd run was spraying 1st and on also

reaction: redlight
I1: 2.674
I2: 6.969
I3: 10.422
MPH (I3): 71.852
I4: 13.344
E.T.: 15.837
MPH: 90.933

Last run of the day with nitrous almost out.

reaction: .115
I1: 2.819
I2: 7.042
I3: 10.495
MPH (I3): 72.103
I4: 13.408
E.T.: 15.884
MPH:91.482

Well all these runs were at 75 shot but i doubt i got the full 75 because of the bottle pressure being way off. Anyways it was fun and i was mad but happy i improved my 1/4 times and i also met another member on here (cg6500)and he was pretty cool, so all in all it was a fun and hot day. Plz dont flame on me too hard

btw there has to be something wrong about the 77.757 trap speed? The slips they gave us r cheap and the ink can be rubbed or smeared easily, but from what i see it looks like a 77. Anyone know? Was it because of my missift and what do i need or have to do to improve? I might just sell some parts and save for a mtr swap but it will take awhile

I also went to the track today, it was my first time ever, did not race or anything, never even see a drag race before. It was pretty damn awsome, it was the MIR event a budscreek in southern maryland. Saw this supra run 10s, pretty damn fast.
Also, was thinking about bracket racing, and had a question, if you are in a stock civic, is there a point to do that pre run burn out?

nope in fact with my stock tires i barely even lit them up. Mostly everybody at the track with the factory tires says not to burn out with stock tires and it was already hot as it could be, so i just went around the burn out box. Unless u have dr's, performance tires, or slicks
