Swicthes for my lights

i have a question lol. I have 3 switches in my car but recentally took all the wires out and lights out becasue i didnt like it anymore. Well i want them back lol i cant rember how to do it. All i can remember was there was a wire under the hood onnecting to the batery than there was a chip in the fuse and then all the wires were conneced to the switches. If that makes any sense to you guys ccan you give me a hand! thanx

ya thats it. wire from battery to switch, then from switch to whatever the accessory light was, and then ground cable from the accessory to a chassis ground. You can also have a fuse on the power wire near the battery.
