Okay, i read the stickies, and still had some questions, i may have missed something. what do these numbers mean 195/60/15, i know the last one is rims size, not sure about the rest.
I have an 04' ex sedan, and want to get tires a little higher quality than that of the stock potenzas, any recomendations???
Also i have read a thread about someone putting 195/65/15 on their stock rims, what are the effects of the different sizes, or what ever those numbers mean?

195 is the tire width in MM
60 is a percentage...the sidewall height is 60% of the width

the 195 is the width
the 65 is something with the height (so smaller the number the lower profile it is)

More sticky than long life, but not too short lived!!!LOL
I know about the light that burns twice as bright burns for half as long type deals with tires, just am totally new to this.
Definitely more sticky than the stock potenzas, and they need to be good in the rain.
Any recomendations are appreciated.

falken azenzas are really good for stickie ness

maybe get some z rated all-seasons

For the last time (I've posted on this on many ocations) the Speed rateing of a tire (The Z you refer too) has NOTHING TO DO WITH HOW STICKY THE TIRE IS! all it tells you is the speed in which it is safe to run the tire at, with out it destroying it selfe due to the heat and deformation that happens at those speeds.

^ one downside to the Azenis RT-615... it doesnt deal with rain all that well. (hitting puddles at speed = hydroplane). Great tire when its dry or just slick out, but watch out for those puddles.

Also, i wanted people who had experiance with different brands etc, cause i have looked, but have no experiance with getting new tires. I had to get new tires on my moms accord that i used to drive, and i just told them to put on what ever. They asked me what i wanted, and whether i wanted a performance tires, and figured they were trying to rip me off.
Also would it be wiser to order them offline, and then take them to a place to get installed or buy them at place that installs them, again bear with me.

www.tirerack.com and check out the reviews. but dont rely on those reviews when you buy your upcomming set of tires.

i had exp. with bridgestone potenza re950 (stock ones u have are potenza re92), its grippy enough for my daily driving habits with my spirited driving. great in rain as well. never tried in snow... but i left a review on tirerack.com.

check out the tire calculator.. by going wider and lower profile, it can affect your speedometer in the long term. i think a good alternative choice of 195/60/15 would be 205/55/15 ?

No, but you did Ask long life tires or stickiness....

There are high mileage tires out there that have decent treadwear ratings, so they handle well and hold the road. The BFGoodrich Gforce Sport handles well, and has a fair treadwear rating for a performance tire.

ZZyx is trying to make a point that a lot of the same stuff gets asked over and over and over. I've been here since January, and hear the same stuff repeatedly.

jack wanted some suggestions, i had the azenzas and i liked them alot so i suggested them, i also drive fast so i play it safe with z rated tires. i never said anything about z rated tires being sticky

i know at costco, if you buy the all 4 tires form them, they install for free and come with a warranty of some sort? not sure what kind of warranty.

depending on which tires, im sure you can save up on bucks by purchasing online from a legit site, and have a shop mount/balnace them. when you go to a shop that sells tires, their more likely to sell it to you for retail price whereas most online sites are about bucks cheaper than retail. so i say snoop around www.1010tires.com www.tirerack.com www.vulcantire.com
