bottle warmer Q

Is it ok to wire a bottle warmer to a switched source so that it is on when the car is on, or should it have its own switch so it can be turned on and off?

if you wire it to where it is on whenever the car is on, you run the chance of burning up the bottle warmer sooner than expected.

Your supposed to wire your bottle warmer switch to a power source thats on when the ignition is on. That way when you car is off, theres no way that the bottle warmer can come on. Someone on another forum had their bottle explode in their trunk because their bottle warmer was on when the ignition was off.

But that means when you turn ur car on, the bottle warmer doesn't automatically come on, that just means that the switch can be turned on.
