For those who did the DIY Caliper Paint...

I've decided to spray my calipers so I went and picked up some paint for the job. My primer is Dupli-Color Sandable Primer (Black), and my paint itself is Dupli-Color Gloss Black Engine Enamel (which stands up to 500 degrees, just like the DIY guide talks about).

So my question is, can I use this same combo on my rear drums as well as my calipers? and if not, Why?

alright, I got some primitive pics up...the front pic came out alright and the back one is horrible (due to the fact that I took them in my garage)...I promise I'll get some better pics up with the whole car included by the end of the week...

by the way, I'm really happy about the way these came out. Its a very easy little 'mod' (I guess) that anyone could do as long as you know how to remove a tire...lol

Looks good and yes, you can use the same on the readr drums. It's actually easier because you can take the drum off and not have to paint it on the car.

I painted it while I was on the car...either way its not that big of a deal. I'm happy with the way that they turned out. I'm shooting to get some pictures of my car as a whole sometime this week, so I should have some better pics up soon
