The motor is the famous d17 1.7 l single overhead cam motor with two o2 sensors one facing outwards at the top of the header and one further down where the header meats the exhaust pipe......please help me out here i think DC makes one for the car but what about Hedman.....thanx again

There are 2 ways you could go:

1. Get a Kamikaze header (bigjoshracing.com) and o2 simulator

2. Do a DX/LX to EX exhaust system conversion which is to get a EX header, swaybar, catback exhaust system and a high flow cat

Your not listening to GSR Tech, You do have the EX " Conversion" If you have managed to get a high flow cat and exhaust, this also means that you are running 2 Catylitic converters? Get the Kamikaze headers (show best gains?) and then it will bolt right up, if you do not already have a High flow cat just run straight pipes from you headers to your exhaust if you dont have to worry about emmisions and crap.

you have to be a little more descriptive of what you currently have in order for us to tell you what you need that will mate up with it with little to no modification.

Sorry boyz it my bad....at work and kinda frustrated. I have the stock header mnow with the heat shield over top. I called Hedman Tech line and the guy said the header for the Vtech motor would fit. his words not mine. i disagreed with him. But maybe i'm wrong the exhaust i have is 2 1/4 from the joint back no high flow cat down the exhaust line. In northern ontario so no emissions. hope this helps kinda vague i know

I have a Kamikaze header still new in the box. I'm not going to use it. I'll let it go for $215
