Prokit or Sportline? Can't decide

It's time to drop the car now finally...just not sure which one to get...I would like the sportlines because I think it's 1.4" all around but then again I think that would be too low with the oem kit that I plan to get and the damn potholes and snow out here in Jersey...Also, I want ride comfort and stability on the highways so I would definitely do shocks with either set up... I don't want to go with the Koni's becuase I read here somewhere that I would need to cut the OEM housings for the fronts and I don't wanna do that...what other shock would you recommend that would not require modification to the OEM housings? Also which spring would you guys go with for the set up that I have planned?

If you go with springs and dont want Konis then get the Tokico Blues and the prokit. The ride should be similar to stock but with better handling.

i have goldlines right now, which are a little lower than the sportlines. i'm soon changing to the prokit cuz 1.75"-2.00" is a little rough. i have tokicos and i really suggest those if you dont want konis.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I think I'm leaning more towards the Prokit although I really like the idea of a lower and more aggressive look and handling of the sportlines...bummer wish I lived down south so I don't have to worry about crap like snow, massive potholes, etc...I also took into consideration the fact that the sportlines will settle and be lower than the 1.4" that is advertised. By the way, If I go with the Tokico's will I have to cut the OEM housing as with the Koni's?

The Prokit is 10-15% firmer then stock and Sportlines are 20-25%. This is what an Eibach tech told me over the phone. Theyre both progressive, so it'll be smooth until you compress them. For the Tokicos, no you dont have to cut them. But you might have to get the steering knuckle holes drilled bigger if you have a 2003 or higher since theyre 16mm instead 14mm.

Hmmmm, I'm in the same boat......it does suck with all the potholes and snow that we get in NJ. The pro-kit and Tokicos does sound like a good set up.

Just one question, how low will the car settle with the prokit??? I have a sedan

Have you thought of the KYB AGX shocks/struts? I have a buddy with them on his Miata and some on an older Civic and they both love them. I also recommend the Prokits.
