Emanage Ignition wiring; Coil Vs. Channel
Ok, so Jeff (Jeff) has been pm'ing me about the wiring schmatics of the emanage ignition wiring. His main question has been: Why not wire channel 1 to cylinder 1, 2 to 2, 3 to 3 and 4 to 4? He said that Hyaboosta has it wired this way and has no misfires. When I wired in my emanage initially, I read (I believe it was Opto's) DIY that said to wire cylinder 1 to channel 1, cyl 3 to chan 2, cyl 4 to chan 3 and cyl 2 to chan 4.
Well, if Hyaboosta is running cyl 1 to chan 1, 2 to 2, 3 to 3 and 4 to 4, it must mean that the emanage has no control over anything than altering the signal. Hence, hook up the emanage, any channel to any cylinder. Don't adjust the ignition settings and the car will run stock. When you boost, just make sure you remember which channel is wired to which coil and adjust accordingly.
If anyone has more insight to this or why this may not work, post it up.

Well, since there's been no real insight shed, I am going to assume that I am correct (I can't think of any reason this would be inaccurate) and I went ahead and updated my diy to reflect this new info.
the emanage is universal so I would guess that no matter what channel you run it to it will retard the timing in that cylinder just as much as the other across the board. Unless your tunning each individual cylinder.
