My car is finally tuned!

Well My car is tuned but with shitty *** numbers Wtf 160whp and 158 tq at 8 psi With no boost the car had 92 whp hahahahaha So i guess 160whp is way better than that. The temperature was 102 and humidity 25% i don't know if that has anything to do with it. It drives very good and does haul some pretty good *** i didnt get to test it out against any of my friends last night because 15 minutes from 1 hour drive my car just stopped and wouldnt start again don't know wtf happened but that got me even more sad shitty numbers and shitty end o well what can i do.

It's because it was 102 out, your going to need to get it tuneda gain when the temp drops lol. You'll see better numbers as the temperature drops some more

^^^ The tuner said it should go up a lot once the temp goes down i hope it does i could't believe only 160whp untuned it was at 136 whp and then every tune it went up it seriously does feel very powerful for only having that. At 92whp with zero boost i am not stock i have flywheel and pulleys so imagine without that i would have about 85whp that is sad

Yeah, it'll go up quite a bit, and you'll be happy.

it has to be the temp outside. Have u ever drive the car in 100F (day) + and 70F (night). Big difference in between.
Any check engine light or anything?

The check engine comes up when i put the key in and it flashes 5 times i think then turns off the car turns over all the electronics work just wont start it was so sweet boosting for about an hour dam it picked up pretty fast and i just floored it and when i looked at the speedometer i was going 120 i was like holy **** better slow down. i have not driven it at night because it broke down around 5. How much hp do you think i will pick up once it cools down?

damn that sucks, 9x whp with pullies, ex runs 110 with a stick. Well temps get hot here but not 100 yet and at night its still freezing cold, but I do feel a dramatic improvement during night time driving. Enough to feel more than the gains of i/h/e.

those are good numbers...if you have an auto. I'm assuming you do because your starting hp is very low. Autos usually end up around 150whp with turbo and start with 90. Should get it tuned at a lower temp because thats too hot to be running alot of boost.

whoa serious?? The numbers you were and are making seem exactly like auto. I didn't realize lx is that much slower cause stock ex manual dynoes in at 100-110 whp, with sf kit 180whp tuned *without return fuel system, just kit.

With cooler temps, you should be around 190whp at 8 psi. Do you have the alcohol injection kit ????

You said your car "broke down" an hour after you left the tuner's shop? What happened?

160whp on 102 degree? WOW, why even tune when its that hot..
cuase if it gets cold out...your car would run lean... and thats not good..

but they say 1% hp increas for ever 10degree's.. not sure about Fi though... say 2%??

thast 30-40degree 8%... so 170 is surely avaliable..

I dunno but by the sounds of it. Flooring it like crazy on the way home in 102deg. heat isn't the best thing for the car. did the temp gauge go up?

No it did not i floored it once just to see what it had the temp gauge has gone up once and that was after i raced that camaro i left it at idle and it went up but once i started driving it went down i am trying not to mess anything up because my dad has always been against me turboing my car and says the more you put on the more problems you can have so if i blow a head gasket he is going to kill me

it stoped and wouldn't turn back on because when you have a turbo car, you can't always be romping on it... can't always be at full boost. Gotta let it cool down some time. It'll happen in any car with a turbo... Not sure about saabs with water cooling though... thats where I got my turbo out of... I may hook up the water cooling.

You need a bigger radiator, and perhaps an oil cooler, that will keep the temps down. Plus the water gauge is a pile. It really only reacts when it gets really hot, you cannot monitor subtle changes like an aftermarket gauge would. Basically, the ECU filters the temp gauge to keep it from moving around a lot and scaring the idiots that would make them think their car is doing something besides just opening the thermostat.

158lbs-ft of torque is a great number for our cars at that temps. Not many Hondas matches the max torque with the max whp. So feel good with it!!!

Now... I'm not sure about why the car stops???..... Have it started again??

Yeah a fuel line in the gas tank was disconnected its doing good now its a lot faster than i thought it would be when i saw those numbers yeah the tuner was trying to get the same amount of torque and power on one tune he did but i told him i wanted more hp he got 156whp and 156 torque i told him to get a little more and thats when i noticed it was going up one horsepower a tune

Good to know that it was just a disconnected line and it was not a major problem.
Congrats and have fun!!!
