goldlines to eibach prokit. would it be any smoother?
right now i have goldline springs with my tokico blue struts. i've had them for about 30-35k miles, they are still holding up fine but now i'd rather have something that rides a little smoother over the bumps. i was thinking eibach prokit since its only about 1" drop, while goldlines are 1.75". has anyone had or riden in cars with these springs? would it be worth it to get eibachs for a better ride? since i would be raised back up i was thinking i could get a tire with a wider sidewall to help close some of the gap back, and that might also improve the ride a little more.
eibachs should smooth up the ride a bit more, or maybe you can go with the sportlines for more of a drop. Goldlines aren't great springs anyways so either of the eibachs should ride a lot better.

Before I installed my Eibach Sportlines, I called Eibach asking them what I can expect in ride quality. They told me that their Prokit is 10-15% firmer over stock and the Sportlines are 20-25% firmer. So yeah, it'll be close to stock.

I have the eibach pro and sportlines with Tokico blues.. all I got to say is if you want a smooter ride you might want to check into the Tein Luxury springs instead. Otherwise its still bumpy

they actually arent THAT bad, the ride is pretty good but i just want something smoother. the old version used to sag but goldline fixed that, so anything you buy now will be sag free.
has anyone used those tein luxury master springs? seem like kind of a waste, they dont even lower an inch.

i have goldline springs. 1.8 drop all the way around. settled to a 2 inch drop. they ride fine. i like them alot. and my *** is not saging. ive had them for more then a year now. still riding good.

the prokit is very close to stock, and I really can't tell much of a difference even tho it dropped alot. I have 2 finger gap front and 1 rear.
i have the prokit as well and love it. The only other car that is lowered that ive rode in that isnt bumpy is my friends hatch on Teins, but my car rides pretty much like stock. of course with aftermarket rims and tires its going to feel different too. But i like the way it rides a lot
I have had my goldlines for about a year now too. they ride good, IMO almost like stock ride. Just lower of course. Not harsh, not bouncy. The only reason I think people say they sag, is because they have the same 1.75 in drop front AND back. While some have a shorter drop in the back. Plus I have a system in the back. HEAVY! Planning on upgrading to Tein SS coilovers shortly.

how low do sportlines go? lots of sites have different measurements, some say 1.4, 1.5, 1.7. my goldlines were rated 1.75 but with settling and a system its probably more than that, so if sportlines were like 1.4, and settled to 1.5 that would be nice, or even if the prokit settles more than 1".

prokit settles way more than an inch. Just look at mine there's almost no gap. I wouldn't plan to have anything in the trunk with a sedan cause it already sags a bit. My buddy shmik1 has sportlines and its about the same drop as mine. Slightly lower, like maybe 1/2 finger gap.
