I just ordered a set of the 711's They are OK for a low budget tire. I did not want to put expensive tires on my old rims. (time for some new ones soon) Get the falkens, they are a better tire.

then pray tell, why are you getting the 711's?

i really like the direction you are going with your car and 7thgen in general and respect your opinion, so any info offered would be great.

thanks!

Have you looked into the Hankook Ventus HR-II?

about the same price. I like them for a low budget tire. My only gripe about them is that they get a bit loud at speeds above 75 mph, but that may be due to my possible bent rim.

My rims are getting old I have had them on since I bought my car new. I did not really want to throw new tires on them since I have been thinking about getting new 16" lighter rims. BUt when I disovered the 711 for only 51 bux a piece I said what the hell. these will tide me over until I can afford the new rim and tire combo I want. I am currenlty putting money twords a cam/springs and clutch. My wallet is taking some abuse.
