Wat are your opinions on Falken tires?

Like the title says, i was just wondering what everyone thinks about Falken tires. I was thinking of gettin Falken ze512's until my friend mentioned they bubble and then blow easily.

bubble easily? I think that may be b/c your friend might be going through 1 too many pot holes and going in them hard! My friend and I both have ZE512's, his 235/45 and 205/50 for me and no problems with them, but we are almost obsessed with avoiding pot holes.. They are pretty good all season tires.... but the snow is a bit tricky.... not for very spirited or track use.

no ****.

Anyway, I had them and enjoyed them. But I didnt go back with them when I needed new tires a few months ago. First off, no one readily carries them. I had ordered mine off the internet. But discount tire sells them, but never has them in stock, so they would always have to order them. I didnt want to do that because what if I had a blowout and needed a new tire, I would have to wait untill they ordered one. Sears carries them, but doesnt offer any kind of road hazard warranty worth buying. I wanted my tire replaced for free if anything happened. Also they are directional tires. So I ended up with some goodyear tires, and I am fine. Just have to consider the circumstances when buying tires.

I work at the local toyota dealer, and I've seen several falken tires come in that are all bubbly on the side wall not sure why though.

ya the stock tires are POS!!! almost crashed b.c of them. anyways idk the way i drive(very spirited thro turns) and due to the fact that my area has a billion pot holes i doubt the falkens would last too long.

just about any tire will have bubbles. my sister is an careless driver and has had bubbles on all 4 of her toyo tires. i think they were toyo t1s or tpt or something. but they were in size 205/60/16 which is fat tire.

as for falken tires, ive heard nothing but good things about that brand of tire on every forum i post on. everyone seem to love their 512's for an all season (exclude snow). just dont drive like my sister and you wont get bubbles. avoid rough road conditions and objects and you'll be fine.

Do the 512's not look like a full width tire?

My brother has some on his AMG rims for his clk430 and well, his 235 tire looks more like a 225 tire. It has like a reverse curve in the sidewall i guess?
