Hello Guys , I'm the owner of a 05 Civic EX Coupe in NHBP ...

I just got some 17 inch Rota Grids in Royal Black w/ Polished Lip ... and I got some 205/40/17 Falken Ziex.

I got the tires/rims mounted today and I just noticed .. @ 12am ... that the rim kind of sticks out of the tire. There is like a lil finger gap b/t the tire and rim. The rims are 17x7.5 ... I should have probably gotten fatter tires.

Should the rim stick out a little from the tire (like a lil less than a finger gap)?

Can I expect future probs?

What should I do?

I think what you're saying is the tire is stretched to fit on the rim, which is not good. Also 205's would be a good fit for 7" wide wheels not 7.5. Post up a pic of it.

Just be careful with potholes and when you park next to curbs.
