some questions on spring rates & coilovers

Can someone educate me on spring rates?

How many pounds are ideal for the front/rear for our cars?
a. Is it ideal to have a lower spring rate in the front for more oversteer?
b. Is it ideal to have a higher spring rate in the rear for more oversteer?

How many pounds are ideal for daily street driven use w/ the occasional twisties?

Which Complete Coilover set would be ideal for daily/street use?

How long do complete coilover sets last before you replace them?

If you have the answers, I'd love to hear it. If you have opinions without facts, then

From what I hear, you don't replace them. Full coilover setups just need the internals changed, but I could be wrong.

Well I don't know too much about coilovers except that they ride hard, so unless you like that or are going all show I wouldn't go for them, springs and a camber kit will do ya just fine.
