Rear lower than Front

Sup guys,

I got a problem. As the title says, the rear on my sedan is lower than the front. About 2 weeks ago I was at a tech-meet and we threw on some new Tein S-Tek's on my ride, and the drop is only supposed to be 1.3 in the front and 1.4 in the back. Even before I left I noticed the back was sagging a bit, and now it looks significantly lower than the front. I don't have anything heavy in the trunk... does anyone know what the problem might be? Shocks?

And yes, these springs were made the the sedan too. Caucasian.Asian has the same springs as me and he doesn't have the same drop on his sedan...

Thanks!

oh u probably noticed ur right side is higher then ur left too. i hate that, cuz its so obvious in my car cuz one side is dumped to the tire and the other is like half an inch higher, but oh well, i can lower it if need be.

uhh, did you use camber kit? lowering springs without a camber kit and alignment will cause your tires to slant so it will be lower.

if u havent already get a camber kit installed then get an alignment fromt a reputable place immediately. Your tires will last 1 month max with lowering springs and no camber etc.

most springs are made for coupe.... I dont recall Tein differentiating between sedan and coupe springs.... however, Neuspeed does with their sport springs.

i have tein s tech too and the rear sags... (not sure if it's because i have a 12" polk sub)
neuspeed and coilover will not have this problem..
so i'm tempting to get a tein basic coilover at the end of the month...

Tein S-Techs are known for sagging rear springs, even on 6th gens they sag. There really is nothing you can do about it other than get a new setup.

are the part numbers the same on your springs and caucasian_asian's ?

^that is true. seems like the tein s-techs were meant for coupes as most aftermarket springs on the market. when its dropped on OEM shocks, the sagging would be worse as the stock shocks are pretty soft/firm compared to aftermarket. flotsamm had the tein s-tech springs on his coupe on stock shocks i believe, and his ride height was evened out.

did caucasin_asian (seller?) remove his spare tire or anything for weight reduction?

Just posting to confirm that Tein does not specify a different spring for the coupe and sedan.

1.3 front and 1.4 rear?? That spring is deffinatly for a coupe!! I know that the stock height between a coupe and a sedan is that the sedan's front is higher than the rear and vise versa

you my friend have no idea what your talking about! please stop posting wrong information.

anywho do you have a 4dr or 2dr? the rear springs are diffrent for 4dr's and 2dr's make sure you have the right springs for the right model. it can also be if you have blown rear shocks.

you have a system in the back? I had the 2.75 inch drop due to my system in the rear on stock shocks. after I took the box out it raised back up some. I upgraded to Tokico's and all has been gravy since

I don't have an actual system in the truck... I have a bunch of stuff there, but nothing heavy at all.

In any case, it's strange. At the tech day today we put some spacers inbetween the springs, that was supposed to lift if 1.5. It didn't, but it lifted it enough so that it's not a real big problem anymore....

Thanks anyways guys...!
