Seems that V6 is actually a Hyundai powerplant...
though working with Mitsu and Chrysler these engines are Hyundai engineered

From what i understood, only the 3 new 4 cylinder motors are co-engineered by hyundai.

after the santa fe incident, i will never trust hyundai. if an auto manufacturer can make a car in which the engine will seize up in as little as 18 miles, they don't know what they're doing.
though they did have the top rated reliability car last year. still, its a hyundai. gross.

Mitsu engines are way crappier compared to hyundai so either that is saying a lot for hyundai or very little about mitsu
