97 cluster red lights

I was trying to change my dash to red lights I replaced 194 bulbs and it turned my gas and temp gauge red and my speed from 0 to 40 red...Working on replacing the 40 and beyond bulbs to red as well...Now I bought a bulb that is numver 24...Its almost the right size like it fits and all but it doesnt show up at all...So I was wondering if anyone has replaced the bulbs or what I should to to finish turning them red...Thanks Doug

The sockets for the illumination bulbs should be somewhat bigger than the others. Should be 3-4 used for illumination.

Take out one of the 194 bulbs and swap it for the non-working bulb as a test.

#168 bulbs work great they are brighter than #194
