What material?
I am in the process of having a new paint job and have recently contemplated deeply on the appearance of my vehicle. I have decided to take off a lot and sand down areas. I have decided to remove the side mouldings and after research through the site I have been hearing numerous suggestions on filling the holes holding it in place. I hear the following:
Blue fiberglass
Bondo
and
Metal Weld...
Yet I do not know which one is the correct one to use. Anyone have a suggestion?
Thanks a lot... Micco

welding is the best way to go, but if you dont weld, its not the cheapest. fiberglass can be tricky but is better than bondo, which works decent and just about anyone can use.
the way id suggest is weld a piece behind them, then you have to hit them in a lil with a small hammer and smooth it all out with bondo, i know bondo's gotten a bad rep but its only for people who are dumb and slap it onto huge holes and dents not knowing what they are doing, when your using such a small amount as youll need bondo is the way to go, youll wast money on the resin and whatnot of fiberglass
