Nice wheels (except for color), over here, sandblasting cost $100, powdercoating cost $80. So it cost me $180 CAD for my rims. Only problem is that you'll lose the polished lip when sandblasted.

sandblasting would probably last longer than power coating tho.
but as long as you don't live in extreme temperatures, then it should be fine.
it would cost around $200 for power coating 4 rims.

You need to strip the old coating, or at least rough them out before powdercoating. I go with sandblasting. I guess sanding by hand would work too. I had my old wheels done and they've held up great. After 2 years, they look the same as the day i had them done.

Sandblasting just strips all paint and coatings on off the wheels. The powdercoating can be done in any color.
