I think maybe "Semi-gloss Black (Chassis Black)" is that color. I like "Chrome Smoke (Gunmetal Grey)". They say that they can only fit 16" rims for now though. You know how powdercoating works, right? You paint while there's current flow through the wheel and the paint you're spraying. It kinda adheres to the wheel and it's more resistent to abrasion and wear. Something like that anyway.
I would love to powdercoat my wheels, but it's kinda expensive. I have my own paint gun, so I'll probably just paint them myself. I need to get them rebalanced anyway, so I'll probably strip them, paint them, clearcoat them, and then get them balanced.

I'm not sure? The wheels do get hot though, since they're right up against the brakes. I would ask a person at a bodyshop paint supply store. They have specification sheets on all paints they carry. Just tell them what color you want and ask for a paint that will stand up to higher temperatures. I think all automotive body paints will work just fine though.
I think there is a company called Hot Coat that sells powder coating air guns for small jobs. You just have to find a way to bake the powder coat on after (in an oven).
I found the website: www.hotcoat.com

doesn't it involve magnetizing the wheel, and then the paint kinda sticks to it ;

I hope you are kidding...Only a moron would ruin the finish of their wheels with that true act of idiocy...One valid reason I don't regularly post here.
