dc sports strut bar problem

I just bougt a dc sports strut bar that goes around the aem cold air intake. I've got a 02 civic coupe. The driver side was easy but I'm having problems putting the passenger brace on. My friend told me that it had taken him three hours for him to get on. I called Dc sports and they told me to jack the car up and it loosens the suspension. I've got ground control coilovers. It is a pain in the ***. Is there a technique anyone knows of to install upper strut brace?

wow, only took 5 mins to put mine on. you need to loosen the bolt that connects the strut mount to the bar then tighten it back once you've got it on the strut.

Yeah I'm trying to put the black mounts on first then connect the strut brace, but its just the passenger side that is a pain in the ***. I'll get one going and then try to get the others but it seems that it is off just by half and inch.

put the passenger side on first, then loosen the bolt that connects the actual bar to the black metal part, then fit it on the driver side.

did you loosen all the bolts on the bar so that the mounts can move around?

yeah i've taken the whole bar apart. I'm trying to put the black mounts on first, then bolt evrything down, and then put the bar on and tighten that. Its just that the passenger black mount is not going over all three screws
