02 Civic Sedan TYC housing with TSX HID projector, retrofit done!

I retrofit a TSX projector into a TYC housing for my 02 Civic sedan. Here is some pics to share.

Aiming my projectors

The TSX sit at the center

The back of the orginal TYC

Next two are the TYC(not TSX) projector

TSX already in

Yes, I cut the back and rebuilt it, because I want to be able to aim the projector even after i seal the front len of the housing. BTW, with this design, i can rotate the projector. The projector is actually mounted in a piece of metal sheet. And that metal sheet is mounted on the back of the housing that i rebuilt. I made the three mounting hole of the metal sheet a little bit bigger so that i can rotate the projector.

I will post some more night pics later, night pic still in my dc.

no washer mod. I think stock perform better. I found that the cutoff become not as straight as stock after the washer mod, so i keep it stock.

dude, look at his pictures. he cut off the entire back side of the TYC to fit the tsx projectors. if you have that much extra time on your hands and want to try something new, then go for it.

Yes, it involved a lot of cutting. I did cut the back and inside of the TYC housing, and the TSX projector. If you don't want to spend a lot of time, then I suggest you stay away from the TSX. With the valeo, you only need to swap the projector.
