Hate that orange blinker

I hate that orange blinker, i managed to black out my head lights, but that bulb and reflector are still there...

if it were any other color i would be satified.
Is it legal to change it?
if it's not..... what's the fine/ticket?

(i'm in MD if that matters)

I got pulled over last month for not having orange bulbs in my tail lights. Just got a warning though. I wish they would go after the real lawbeakers instead of pulling me over for not having orange bulbs

my tail lights aren't stock though. My turn signals are clear and since I still have my clear bulbs in there, my turn signals are white instead of orange. I like the white anyway, it's brighter and more noticeable.

I like the orange at night, but not when it reflects during the day. You can try some white ones, but those aren't as safe, harder to see. Any color from white to amber is acceptable in the front signals. For the rear, only amber and red.

Call your local police department to check on the state laws. In Maine, clear lenses are OK as long as there are orange bulbs. Most states will have similar laws. A simple call might save you a lot of grief later if you get a ticket for it.
