Hey..
I'm new here if you couldn't tell.. I just bought an '02 Civic LX on Tuesday after owning a '93 3000GT VR-4 for the past couple years (intake, exhaust, LS6 MAF, greddy bov, boost set at 15psi) before that was a boosted '99 Eclipse GS, and before that an '00 Eclipse GT... Quite the change from all, especially the VR4.. down about 3/4 of the horsepower I'm used to, but I'll trade that for the fuel economy and reliability. I took it for a drive tonight and went over 60 miles with the fuel gauge moving barely a tick or so, compared to the 1/5 of the way down in the VR4. I think I'll keep it pretty much stock for now.. maybe in the future if I feel the bug again I'll start modding.. All I have in it is a Pioneer changer and everythign else is bone stock. It's just pretty costly and not one of my top priorities anymore right now. I think Hondas, specifically Civics, have the highest amount of aftermarket products so if that bug comes, I think I'm in the right car. I don't think I've even taken the new whip over 5K in any gear yet.. Maybe sometime this weekend =). Oh well.. sorry for babbling.. just wanted to introduce myself.. By the way my name is Gary.

Thanks for the welcomes. I just filled up again and I've been getting ~34 MPG which is amazing.. I'm used to about 15 or so and having the $23 that it took to fill the Civic, only fill the 3KGT about 1/3 of the way and having it last about 3-4 days. I'm not too sure about the modding of this car yet.. So far I just have a Pioneer HU and an HID retrofit on the way. Maybe I'll do the old intake/exhaust/headers in the future, but for now I'm happy for the most part. Just miss that AWD and being able to pass whoever I want without any trouble
