Starting a 2k1Civic mod game.. post suggestions
Since im back at school and learning flash i figured i'd try to contribute something to the site that contributes so much to my obsession. I got the idea from a post a while ago about a flash car-mod game. I've got almost all of the art done and im just gonna put it into flash after i get the hang of it. I've got different rims, bodykits, spoilers, tail lights, headlights, brakes and even the lil' sun roof deflector thingy that can be added to a stock civic. And of course the ride height will be adjustable. The bodykits can be changed by front, rear and sides so you dont have to have all the pieces from 1 kit.. ohh yea and the body kits are the real kits. I've done the OEM kit, WW G5 kit and the front bumper that VU has... im working on the xenon kit and I'll probably add some more later. Anyways heres a sample for ne1 whos interested.

Rep Power: 0 What about having different exhausts, engine coloring (tubes and tie downs and stuff), different grills, headlights and tail lights, different colors for the cars (figure you already have that one), and maybe even take some side graphics from stickercity.com. I'd like to see how my car would look with some of those. I want the last "fast and furious" style kit.. #15 I think. Maybe different fonts that you could use for the side graphics if you want letters like you have in your pic.

Rep Power: 0 I've got the different exausts, head lights and tail lights already... the engine bay isnt visable though because its a side view like my pic shows. Its just a mod your car type of game... no betting no racing just add different parts
Im only doin it cuz i like 2k1 civics and i draw them all the time neways so i'll put the drawings to use

Rep Power: 0 I got another idea.. Maybe we could have a small competition to see who can make the coolest car with it.. and have the head forum ops be the judges.. and maybe even give some prizes.. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG] Hey Derek, put a new banner on, and all of the money made off that banner goes to the coolest car designer in the form of a part.. People could enter and they could put down their preferences for parts for different price ranges (depending on what comes in from people clicking on that ad). Sound good to anyone else?

Rep Power: 0 eh'.. just really sounds like a cool idea.. Plus, it would help me mix and match external mods to get the look I want... Plus, it'd be nice to have a little contest like that on the site to maybe get some people some free parts.. I can't afford to buy much since I'm a 20 yr old with $1200 in rent, not incl utils..

Im tryin to get things workin but im having a hard time figuring it out... i'm gonna keep scruin with it but its gonna talke longer than i thought

WHAT. Just keep practicing. It's not that hard even if your using Action Script. If you get hung up, jump on Flashkit.com and check out the tutorials. Hope that helps. Good luck.
