Rear Window Removal
Rear Window Removal
Now i'm sure someone on here has done this at some point. What all goes into the removal and reinstall. I'm going to glass a custom rear deck i'm making and it seems impossible without removing the back glass.

well it is caulked in place. It's in the service manual, I think you remove the trims inside and out, then stick a metal wire or cord through a corner. Have someone inside and someone outside and work in a sawing motion all around until you have worked all the way. I think that was all..

I think you need a special tool to get the windows out.... someone might know what it is.
Anyways, instead of removing the glass, why don't you just take out the rear deck?
Also... instead of glassing it... you can get some plastic filler spray. It fills in the texture and then you sand it smooth. Once that's done you can just paint it and it'll turn out just as good as if you glassed it. Plus it's way cheaper and a lot easier.
