The "putty" is a glazing/spot putty. It's used to fill very minor imperfections/air pores created by sanding. It's used to fill the minor stuff. I'd recommend sanding with between 300 and 600 grit sandpaper until you get a uniform surface. From there, put on one thin layer of the putty and let it dry. After it dries, sand lightly with said paper to knock down the high spots, spray a layer of a light colored primer (I prefer white or grey) onto it. After the light color dries, get a contrasting color (I like flat black paint or black primer) and spray a mist over that coar. Sand lightly until you have a uniform surface again. The places where the mist is left over are low spots. Continue this process until it's all even with no high places. Finish sand with 600 grit and paint (anything finer would smooth it too much and make the surface sort of waxy, the paint won't stick as well to something that smooth).

granted this is my first time working with bondo/fiberglass but i gained a lot of experience from this project and the next fabrication is guaranteed to be better than this one (i sorta rushed the painting on this one)
if anyone is interesting in this service pm me
The video doesn't show the work at all. Just the screen. I'm a little confused, the pics above are not your finished product, are they? If so, then either my eyes are playing tricks on me or you couldn't possibly charge anyone for that. It looks all wavy and choppy. Plus, it looks funny that you didn't try to level out the two sides with fiberglass in order to acheive a balanced look. I do not mean to offend you, and if that's your first time using fiberglass you did pretty good - but you can't charge people for work like that IMO. Again, unless those either are not finished or look different than the project does in person.
